' Creation of man
'
Many born-again Christians associate their lives only with the Christ
of the cross, and therefore never moved on to the Christ of the
resurrection-life.
Many connect only with the
"forgiveness" aspect of Christ's atonement and have therefore never been able to disconnect from their human Adamic
roots.
A growing number of saints discovered
that dwelling in that place results in a guilt-ridden life, ' Me '
trying to please God (Romans 7), resulting in 'spiritual' burn-out,
deep frustration and
disappointment.
'
Prayer'
At this stage, the
Lord poured out His provision and favor. He raised up intercessors,
prayer warriors, watchman and prophets.
He used 'those who had ears' to prepare the way He wanted to go
with His Gathered
family.
He rooted out what was unclean
and built up that what was divine. He appointed those who had to
break up the fallow ground and sow the seeds. He is still
appointing those who have to do the watering.
' Re-Creation
'
He spoke through the teaching
of the living scripture and spoke Personally, The Word, turned hearts around, had spirits lifted and
feet walking His way. He touched our minds in a gentle, almost
seamless way. We realized we were changed and are still in the
process of being
changed.
A sense of quiet excitement
rose up when we identified ourselves with words in Scripture we
seemed to have overlooked a lifetime and suddenly realized that it
was the touch of His Spirit revealing the truth and taking away the veil we
treassured for so
long.
' Triumphant Entry
'
We welcomed Him into our lives.
We did not spread our clothes on the pavement, but were enabled to lay down
ourselves. We did not wave palm branches, but in a glorifying
expression, we lifted our hands and worshiped Him in real Spirit
and in Truth, perhaps for the first
time?
We learned of the freedom we
have in approaching the Father with boldness, a near unimaginable
Grace that Christ accomplished for those He purged and made
righteous
again.
' Birth Canal
'
Studies from the letters of the
apostles gave direction and insight who we really are in
Adam/self and how the Father really sees us white and clean in
Christ His Son, through His atoning
work!
It started a birthing process,
applied to each individual saint, dependent on his/her life
situation.
Individual believers saw perspectives they never noticed before and
new experiences were born and shared amongst each
other.
' Dormant Blessings
'
We started to realize the
wealth of blessings and promises the Father has in store for those
who have laid down themselves and live by His
guidance.
Promises for the here and now,
His presence, love and guidance for this life in good and bad
times. Being grafted in Christ with the promise of sonship and
eternity, ruling with Him in a never ending glorious eternal
relationship.
' Crossed, still laboring
'
Among all the furore of
drinking the new wine, we still have to be vigilant. Yes we have
crossed, we understood that we now have a relationship with Him
where we do not do the work FOR Him, which can be done in the
flesh, but He works THROUGH us, which requires a
relationship.
How easily we fall back in
wanting to do the cleaning up ourselves. We discovered that we have
to keep telling each other that we don't have to clear the rocks
anymore.
They have been cleared by
Him!
' Died with Him
'
Many of us have come to realize
that our selfcentered human spirit died with Him on the cross, and
replaced by a new Christ-centred human spirit in which the Spirit
if Christ now can find His dwelling
place.
That truth travelled one foot
down; from the head to the heart.
We learned, that huge truth can only be received by faith, and by
surrendering every part of ourselves so he can have His way in
us.
By faith we live a totally free
life, dependent on Him. Restraint only by the freedom in Him! When
living by that truth, we discovered the importance of ' I must
decrease so He can increase
'
' Risen with Him
'
We are now learning to embrace
our new resurrection life of Christ in us and our lives in Him, and
apply the result to each other, the beneficiaries of His Grace what
commonly is called the ' world ' and to our own
lives.
His Spirit is renewing us
continually, allowing us to travel deeper into the knowledge of His
will, teaching us the utmost things of our Saviour.
We will discover more new things He will add to our lives. More and
more we long to live that resurrection life with Him, a life of
purity, a life so clean and without
straining.
' Walking with Him
'
We experienced a change in our
walk with Him. Were we often walking ahead of Him, due through our
own decisions and initiatives, now we have learned to have Him live
His life through us.
That way we are starting to find the green pastures and the quiet
waters.
Yes, the distractions,
interruptions and dangers are there. We have learned when He has
become me, these dangers cannot harm us.
Adverse circumstances teach us to stay close to Him, in order to
enjoy His colorful walk through us
thoroughly.
' Resting in Him
'
Our spirits were stirred when
we experienced the new walk in the new life without having to
engage ' self ', and the concept of "rest" unfolds as a brand new
revelation.
Starting to understand that we have entered a state we had not much
knowledge of when we walked in
'self'.
Handing our life and the
life-experiences over to Him, knowing and believing, that it was
all finished on the cross, our lives will take now the direction He
had in mind for us all the time.
We started to discover the fantastic hidden future in store for
unbelievers and the 'good works He has prepared for us, ' (the
believers) experiencing peace and rest in finding ourselves doing
these works as our purpose and
destination.
